The Car has been sold!!
This 1964 VW bug was restored five or six years ago. The car was always garaged, and was stored for years prior to being purchased by my brother, Kevin. It has the sunroof and luggage rack. The car received many new parts. It has been converted to 12 volts. Having previously been shown as originally purchased, the car was customized in the past 4 years with a ‘new out of the box’ Judson Super Charger, a Marvel Mystery Oiler system, a HUSRT Shifter, “New Style FLAT-4 BRM Replica 5 Spoke Wheels”, and tires (145r15 front and p195-75-r15 rear). The battery is about 1 year old and the starter was replaced this past summer. The owners manual and manuals for the shifter and supercharger are included. There is also a VW Toolkit. The car was driven daily last June and July, and ran perfectly. There is almost no rust, only a small spot by the rear window rubber. The under carriage was undercoated and appears virtually rust free, Some of the rubber gaskets have been replaced, but most of the window and door seals have deteriorated and need to be replaced. The seats and door panels are in excellent condition; however the headliner is original and has begun to deteriorate. The driver’s wing window latch is broken, but a replacement part is available. It has the typical oil drip around the oil filter cover.
